We can also determine if setting a room as an office would be appropriate as discussed in Step 5. If you live in a family-friendly neighborhood, it’s perfectly fine to keep a kid’s room looking like a kid’s room — within reason. You do need to clean up the toys and move some of them out to make the room look more spacious. Remove pictures of your children — for both aesthetic and safety reasons.
